- Treatment during the first 12 months of membership for pre-existing medical conditions, disabilities, and pregnancy-related services.
- Treatment during the first 2 months of membership for pre-existing psychiatric conditions.
Waiting periods are deemed to start from the day of arrival in Australia on a student visa and not all policies impose the maximum waiting periods. It is important to know that you will not be able to claim for these items during the waiting period.
